Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale
1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions define the terms of use of the services provided by the website sergeassier.com and the conditions of sale for photographs and books offered by Serge Assier.
2. Access
The website is freely accessible to any user with Internet access. The publisher reserves the right to suspend, interrupt or limit access to the site without notice.
3. Products
Photographs
Photographs for sale are original prints by Serge Assier, limited to 8 numbered copies per image. Prints are produced on:
- Black and white enlarger paper Baryta MG Art 300 Ilford 300g
- Digital black and white on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta 315g
Prints are delivered unframed.
Books
Books are original editions of photographs and texts, produced in limited print runs.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) including all taxes. For photographs, shipping is included. For books, shipping costs are at the buyer's expense and shown for each item.
The publisher reserves the right to change prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the rates in effect at the time of order.
5. Ordering
Orders are placed via the online form on the website. The buyer receives a confirmation email summarizing the order details.
6. Payment
Payment is made by personal cheque payable to Serge Assier. Orders are shipped after the cheque has been cashed.

7. Delivery
Delivery time is 3 weeks from receipt of payment. Photographs are carefully shipped in appropriate packaging.
8. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with French consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized (numbered photographic prints made to order).
For books, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of receipt. Return shipping costs are at the buyer's expense. The product must be returned in its original condition.
9. Intellectual Property
Purchasing a print or book only confers ownership of the physical object. No reproduction, representation or exploitation rights are transferred. Any reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the author.
10. Applicable Law
These general terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Marseille.
